Picante Grill Description:
In my mind, best Mexican Restaurant in San Antonio. It is situated right across the street from the Witte Museum.
Although they serve the standard Tex-Mex fare, this restaurant specializes in Yucatan/Mexican Interior cuisine (and it should be crime not to try this section of the menu).
Their signature dish is "Cochinita Pibil" and it's to die for! They also make Spanish Paella on Sundays.
Excellent chef, with a very friendly and gracious owner and wait staff.
