Dick's Last Resort Restaurant Description:
The name may be a joke, but for us, Dick's Last Resort is exactly that. We seem to be in the minority, for the joint is typically full of the younger drinking set, Navy personnel on leave, conventioneers and Padres fans looking to get rowdy. Servers are actually trained to be rude and crude, and take pride in their abilities. Ribs, wings and crabs' legs are served in buckets filled with french fries and slaw, while the sloppy half-pound burgers drip with cheese. The names are cheeky, as in the double chicken breast dish named Dolly Parton and others like Pork Bonerz, Case 'O Crabs and Seize 'Er Chicky Salad. Dieters beware: the menu is full of guilty pleasures, the most indulgent of which is the extreme brownie meltdown flavored with Hershey's bars and Heath Crunch ice cream.
