Olde Port Inn Description:
Local fishers deliver their fresh catch right to the front door. The restaurant itself appears to be a rough-hewn sea shanty from the outside, but inside it proves to be comfortably elegant---mellowed and aged like a fine bottle of brandy, and with the same amber overtones. Dark timbers slope overhead, and big bay windows look out to sea. The downstairs dining room has been remodeled to provide an additional view of the ocean---through the floor. The specials here include a lusty cioppino, stuffed shrimp, and the Fisherman's Plate, which gives a sampling of everything from the nets. You can't go wrong if you choose the fresh catch of the day. There are always a few different kinds of fish, and they're served grilled, broiled, blackened or even steamed. In order to keep the local fishermen happy, the inn always serves a number of low-priced, simple favorites including shrimp-n’-chips and fish tacos.
