Thai Palace Description:
Tradition is what you'll find in this colorful restaurant filled with original art, bubbling fountains, and rainbow-hued mirrors imported from Thailand. Like the bright décor the menu is classic Thai, offering dishes like pad thai and tom kha kai coconut soup. The curries are rich and hearty comfort food---we especially like the panang with chicken and massaman with tofu---and the pad see ew is another winner, especially after the wide rice noodles start soaking up the stir-fry sauce. The beverage list offers reasonably priced local wines, beers and specialty Thai coffees and teas. Note that the restaurant closes between 3 p.m.-5 p.m.
