La Boca Description:
A meal at La Boca is always an adventure. Usually packed with boisterous crowds, this is the place to enjoy a tapas spread and people-watch in between bites. It's an intimate venue, with a small dining room that's conducive to those who want to eat like Spaniards in Santa Fe, which happens to have strong Spanish roots. Though full entrées grace the menu, we suggest focusing on the tapas, which is where the magic happens. Try the bruschetta---a mainstay among tapas selections that change on a whim---with crimini mushrooms, egg, truffle oil and Reggiano. Other delicacies from the tapas offerings have included grilled artichokes with Spanish goat cheese, orange and mint, or Moroccan grilled shrimp with sweet pea-basil purée. Get an order of fried Marcona almonds for the table.
