Its logo of a plump chicken dressed in Peruvian garb tells the tale: a Peruvian roast-chicken place with a slightly Latino look (it took over from a Southwestern restaurant). But despite the name, you dont have to stick to chicken. In fact, thats the least part of the menu, which has all sorts of Peruvian dishes, including the famed chupe soup, assorted steak and tripe dishes, and a whole range of sautéed and fried seafood. If you want to keep things simple, however, a charbroiled chicken with a side of fries, salad or rice plus the Peruvian sweet---alfajores (shortbread cookies usually filled with a thick caramel spread)---make a perfect eat-in or to-go meal.
