Oriental East Description:
This longtime favorite continues with its daily dim sum and its solid Chinese menu. You will find a smattering of Hunanese, Szechuanese and Cantonese specialties, and even dishes geared for a timid Western audience such as the numbered combo plates with chow mein and egg foo yung offerings. We recommend the duck, lemon chicken, Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, and orange beef as well as the kitchen's Mongolian lamb with loads of garlic and spring onions. It's a well-designed restaurant that stays open very late for the hungry hoards. It's best to arrive early on weekends---the crowd lines up fast and if you straggle in later, you'll surely wait for your dim sum.
