Korean and Japanese menus are both offered in this attractive spot done up in knotty cedar. The ratio is about 60-40 in favor of Korean dishes, such as kalbi (marinated short ribs) and bulgogi (thinly sliced beef), both of which are barbecue-style dishes prepared on a tabletop grill. There also are a number of Korean hot-pot dishes, including bi bim bap, a spicy blend of vegetables, beef and rice topped with an egg. The appealing sushi bar offers up typical Asian mainstays, all prepared simply. In addition to the sashimi and sushi selections, you'll find tempuras and teriyakis from the kitchen. Many diners choose a dish or two from each country.
