Just try to walk past Manna's 50-foot deli counter stocked with an ever-rotating display of ready-to-eat ingredients and prepared foods. Have a hankering for caviar and crème fraîche? Gorgonzola-stuffed dates? Pistachio-enrobed grouper? Fresh tuna salad or roasted tomato salsa? And if that isn't distracting enough, there are shelves lined with gourmet ingredients from around the world. But if you can make it past such foodie magnets, Manna does offer a pleasant dining room with indoor and patio seating options. Dig into fork-tender prime rib with an herb crust or sautéed quail over risotto. Lighter fare might include a salad of spring greens, kalamata olives, eggplant salsa, nuts and a citrusy vinaigrette; crab cakes with rémoulade; or that chichi luncheon classic, the roasted veggie focaccia sandwich. Homemade potato chips---served as a side with sandwiches---are addictive. For dessert, go for one of the exotic cheesecakes or the heavenly raspberry layer cake. Or just order a whole banana-chocolate charlotte to take home.
