Blue Water Grill Description:
At first glance, this would seem to be another well-appointed hotel lobby bar and restaurant, and to some extent, that's true. The décor is fresh and open, although ambient noise from the bar can be a problem---what with six plasma screen TVs usually turned up at high volume. An unusual allure, there are themed buffets during the week, each offering an assortment of panini, a laudable salad bar, house-made soups and desserts. New items are regularly added to the buffet. For those who wish to order off the menu for lunch or dinner, choices are limited but well prepared. There's a Greek salad with skewered marinated chicken and even a Tampa cheesesteak sandwich that features rib-eye steak, onions and provolone on an Italian roll. Wood-fired pizzas include a Gulf shrimp scampi version, barbecued chicken or wild mushroom. The restaurant's grill features two popular options---either Norwegian salmon with lemon butter or Asian chile sauce, or citrus-jerk chicken. Beverages include Starbucks coffee and Tazo teas.
