Crown Colony Restaurant Description:
This is the premier restaurant at the Busch Gardens Tampa Bay theme park, home to many wild animals roaming on a simulated African veldt. The Crown Colony has a classic English-style African hunting club ambience. The best seats are along the windows of the half moon-shaped main dining room where you can watch zebra, giraffes, ostriches and other grazing animals along with a variety of birds. While menu items are limited, they are well prepared, with chicken salad and a salmon platter among the choices. The most popular items are the family-style dinners, either fried chicken or fried fish, served with heaping portions of coleslaw, rolls, house-made dressing, potatoes and other vegetables. Fresh-baked desserts may end the meal.
