Without highbrow pretensions, management makes good steaks and prime ribs affordable, but we still prefer their hamburgers, plain, with cheese, or served Mexican-style with a big scoop of chili and melted cheese. If beef doesn't appeal, the kitchen will send out ribs, chicken, salmon, or pork chops. But whatever you order, include their steak fries, thick, hot, and salty wedges of potatoes. To round of your meal, start with their jalapeño popper and conclude with the homemade cobbler with ice cream.
