A Brazilian twist on America's beloved eat-all-you-can buffet theme, Brazilian steakhouses open their doors to customers who go to the salad and entrée bars before, during, and after eating loads of meat. This steakhouse (churrascaria) is as snappy as a samba and the ideal destination for real carnivores. The meat served here is primarily beef, along with sausages, turkey and game meats. The meats are carried from table to table by waiters holding a long meat-laden skewer in one hand and a sharp carving knife in the other. Each waiter carries a different meat selection; they'll slice off what you want before moving to the next table. Meat is cooked to a sizzling doneness over the huge grills in the open kitchen.
