The Falls Church location of Old Hickory is quieter than its sister restaurant in Burtonsville, MD, but it offers the same menu and a full bar with lots of interesting brews. The slightly funky Southern and Tex-Mex formula really works. You may find the smothered chicken poblano with fries or grits mighty good, but we swear by the ribs---try the monster rack. For a change of pace, combine the ribs with some grilled chicken. Dont skip desserts, especially the custard-style banana-chocolate bread pudding.
