Pan Am is a no-frills eatery in a large shopping center, anchored by a supermarket and a computer store. In and of itself, it's not much of a destination restaurant, unless you like good, old-fashioned, diner-style eats. Family-friendly and family-run, the place offers the standard diner-style menu, with hamburgers, subs, rib-eye steak sandwiches, calf's liver and fried chicken entrées, and renowned souvlaki and gyro platters. New York-style pizza also appears on the menu. The succulent, nicely seasoned ground lamb-and-beef slices heaped on Greek pita and accompanied by tons of hot fries merit return visits. For dessert, opt for the lemon meringue pie.
