Mulino's of Westchester Description:
Mulino's Northern Italian menu consists of well-prepared classics, including a selection of antipasti such as the carpaccio di manzo, thinly sliced filet mignon with shaved Parmigiano over arugula with herb dressing. Among the seafood dishes, the pescatora alla Veneziana, lobster tails, jumbo shrimp, scallops, clams, calamari and scungilli in a light, aromatic tomato sauce, is a must-try. Pastas should not be overlooked, however; most of them are homemade and cooked al dente. The cavatelli con rapini, salsiccia e pomodori secchi---pasta sautéed with broccoli rabe, Italian sausage and sun-dried tomatoes in garlic and olive oil---is a hearty, richly flavored favorite. The dining room is softly illuminated and tastefully appointed; service is professional.
