If you're looking for cheap eats and authentic Mexican---chilaquiles, mole poblano, queso fundido con chorizo---point your car west and take a drive to nearby Winter Garden. When you step inside this humble little eatery in a strip shopping center, you're transported to a cantina south of the border, with man-size margaritas, Negra Modelo beer and congenial servers who hurry you to an empty table (if there is one, waits can be long on weekends). The door to the kitchen flies open constantly, delivering platters of tasty creations, from simple tacos to spicy camarones al chipotle (shrimp and peppers). Americanized plates include quesadillas, gargantuan burritos and enchiladas, all served with a helping of rice and beans. Add a side of always-fresh guacamole with warm tortilla chips and salsa, but be forewarned, it takes willpower to stop munching and save room for the generous entrées.
