Marino Ristorante Description:
Restaurateur Ciro "Mario" Marino opened Marino Ristorante in 1983, and it became the unofficial Paramount Studios commissary and power lunch spot for producers, agents and entertainment lawyers. Celebrity regulars have included Frank Sinatra, Jerry Lewis, Sharon Stone, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The look is classic and the menu is familiar, offering well prepared versions of ricotta-stuffed ravioli, lasagna al forno, veal Parmigiana, and a dish called filleto alla Sinatra (chunks of filet mignon sautéed with green peppers, mushrooms and red wine). Ciro's son Mario continues to operate the restaurant, along with La Bottega Marino trattorias with his other son, Sal, who also owns Il Grano.
