Sushi Sono Description:
Its light-colored wood appointments, handsome sushi bar, and crisp blue-and-white noren would make this place inviting even if it didn't have a long bank of glass windows overlooking Lake Kittamaqundi. Throw in a varied, well-executed Japanese menu and you've the makings of a very pleasant meal. Start with lightly smoky shrimp shu mai or perhaps the beef gyoza before moving full tilt through a sushi combination plate laden with attractively cut fish or perhaps a casserole cooked at the table, like sukiyaki or yosenabe. Private parties can reserve one of two tatami rooms separated from the main dining room by sliding screens.
