Orchid Cafe Description:
A modest spin-off of the original Orchid Café, this locale offers its dishes mostly by carry-out but still serves the same first-rate food. (There are a few tables for those who want to dine in.) The authentic Thai menu is the same at both restaurants, ranging from appetizers like royal crispy rolls (small bundles of rice paper-wrapped ground chicken, shrimp, bean threads, mushrooms and water chestnuts served with lettuce leaves, cilantro and a sweet-and-sour dipping sauce) to boneless duck curry, fried rice and pad thai.
