The sushi chefs chat amiably with guests while they wrap nuggets of tuna, salmon and halibut in seasoned rice or heap salmon roe in nori wrappers. In addition to sushi and sashimi, the restaurant offers many hot, kitchen-prepped dishes, including udon or soba noodles, tempura and beef or chicken teriyaki. Proprietor Chanpheng Sayanthone, known as Chris, boasts that he can serve patrons as quickly as any fast-food place.
