Café Rani Description:
Café Rani survives largely because of its tempting salads. Grilled sandwiches are served lukewarm, but note that healthful meals like the ones found at Café Rani are few and far between in New Orleans, so count your blessings. Black-and-white photographs enhance the upscale, casual aura that fits in nicely with the fancy boutiques along Magazine Street. In nice weather, of course, the best seats in the house are outside under the towering live oak tree, where it is easy to while away the afternoon with a good bottle of wine. Coffees and teas are specialties here, and the desserts are too tempting to forgo.
