CC's Gourmet Coffee House Description:
Locals like their Community Coffee, whether it is brewed in their own kitchens or at CC's, the company's chain of coffeehouses. The half dozen or so places sporting the CC's sign brew a fine cup of coffee, even if they don't break the chain coffee shop mold. This CC's sits among the mansions on Esplanade Ridge, one of the prettiest neighborhoods in New Orleans. As at the other CC's locations, you'll find a good selection of coffees and a gaggle of satisfying pastries and rolls. Bagels are better than you'd expect in these parts, and the brownies are class-A. Long before it got into the café game, CC's was roasting and selling coffee. A quick visit to any area grocery store will confirm that it's still the locals' choice for a jolt of java. Bring your laptop---there's free WiFi.
