Lobster Trap Restaurant Description:
Essentially the dining room of the Casa Sirena Hotel next door, this large eatery is mainly empty, owing perhaps to the tired décor or the disinterested staff. Even the wonderful view of the Channel Islands Harbor fails to pack the rooms. Consequently the oyster bar in the lounge has been discontinued. So has the live music. If you like to eat with other people around, Friday night is your best bet. Sunday brunch comes with Champagne and costs just under $20 per person, a bit pricey for Oxnard. Dinner offers up prime rib, steak and seafood.
