The experiment of serving dinner has been abandoned, and while there are taco joints with a larger breakfast selection, there is something to be said for the purity of Taco Haven's product. Potato and egg tacos are the essence of the genre---assuming enough hot sauce is ladled into the envelope. After this, stalwart chilaquiles and migas are only icing on the cake, as is the salsa on the chorizo con huevo. The Aztec calendar art that dots the walls, coupled with artwork from local designers, makes the décor more colorful on each visit.
