A true public house of merriment in the tradition of England's local pubs, The Library Alehouse has a cozy ambience patterned after the arts-and-crafts style of L.A.'s public library buildings from the '30s, a patio (heated in winter) and about 30 microbrews on tap. The menu consists mostly of casual finger food, from Buffalo wings to quesadillas to burgers, but its diversity is reflected in dishes such as grilled salmon with Thai pesto sauce and jerk chicken.
