The concessions to Western tastes are few in this modest but sparkling-clean Middle Eastern eatery, which shares space with a supermarket filled with specialties of the eastern Mediterranean. The traditional Middle Eastern dishes---falafel, gyros, baba ghanouj and hummus---are done with native expertise. Marinades and spices are well-composed, too. Lamb chops and kebobs, prepared with succulence and just the right char, are made with fresh, good-quality ingredients. The space, a former filling station, is bright and airy.
