Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar Description:
Fleming's is an exciting new steakhouse concept designed to stand as an ongoing celebration of the best in food, wine, and the company of friends and family.
The menu, as our name implies, will feature the finest in prime beef, augmented by a variety of chops, fish, chicken, generous salads, inventive side orders and indulgent desserts. The innovative wine list will offer some of the finest wines in the world, over 100 of them available by the glass.
Fleming's décor includes wood and linen-topped tables in a large room---a little noisy but also conveying a sense of space. This upscale restaurant features Prime beef and a progressive wine program with more than 100 wines---almost all domestic---to sample. Steaks are seared at an extremely high temperature (1,600 degrees Fahrenheit) on gas broilers. Along with the entrées come vegetables served family-style including seven different potato preparations. Try the Fleming's potatoes---the house specialty, of course---with cream, jalapeños and cheddar. The Beef Flemington is a filet wrapped in puff pastry with mushrooms duxelle and Madeira sauce. The menu also offers a few non-beef options: Australian lamb chops, pork chops and breast of chicken, salmon, lobster tails and steamed king crab legs. Even the bar menu has treats, such as a Prime sirloin burger with cheese and bacon.
